Product Applications:
ErbaQik Dengue IgG/IgM test is a lateral flow immunoassay for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of IgG and IgM antibodies against dengue virus in human serum, plasma or whole blood. It is intended to be used by the professionals as a screening test and as an aid in the diagnosis of Dengue virus infection. Any reactive specimen with the ErbaQik Dengue IgG/IgM test must be confirmed with alternative testing methods.
Principle:
ErbaQik Dengue IgG/IgM Test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay. The test cassette consists of: 1) A conjugate pad containing dengue antigens conjugated with colloidal gold particles and BSA-gold conjugates, 2) Nitrocellulose membrane strip containing two test bands (M and G bands) and a control band (C band). M and G bands are pre-coated with mouse monoclonal antibodies specific to IgG and IgM antibodies against dengue virus and C band is pre-coated with goat anti-BSA. The antibody (IgG and IgM)- antigen-gold conjugate complex, moves along the membrane chromatographically and forms a visible purple/black band on the test lines and red band on the control line. This dual color system is easy to read results of the test.
